Panel 8: “Access to Finance – Building a framework that enables new financing alternatives in the capital market”

 

Artan Loxha is a development economist with 16+ years of experience in private sector development, macroeconomic and labor policy, and national development planning. Artan has 10+ of senior leadership experience, overseeing donor-funded development projects amounting to a $40M+ portfolio.

 

He is currently serving as a Chief of Party at the five-year USAID Investment Promotion and Access to Finance project. Previously, Artan worked as an expert at World Bank headquarters in Washington DC, while he also managed UNDP’s economic portfolio in Kosovo and served as a senior consultant with Deloitte, WYG, and BearingPoint.

 

Artan also served as a Board Member at the Soros Foundation in Kosovo. Artan holds a degree in MPA Economics at Columbia University and MSc in International Development at The London School of Economics.
