Agon Dobruna was born on 23.06.1987 in Gjakova. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown, while he completed his university and post-graduate education at the University of Pristina, Faculty of Economics, majoring in management and informatics.
From 2010 to 2021, Mr. Dobruna served in the position of regional customer care leader in the Kosovo Energy Corporation (later: KEDS and KESCO) District in Gjakovë. From 2014 to 2018, Mr. Dobruna was a member of the Board in the Public Municipal Enterprise KRM ‘Çabrati’ sh.a. in Gjakova. After the 14th February elections, Mr. Dobruna was appointed deputy Minister in the Ministry for Regional Development, as part of the “Kurti II” Government, where he served for two years. As deputy minister, he was engaged in the creation of public policies aimed at the sustainable development of the regions, especially in the use of existing assets and future resources that will be developed to create a favorable environment for the development of the regions.
From June 2023, Mr. Dobruna has been appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers
