Mr. Osmochescu, for more than 25 years has designed, implemented, and assessed strategies, policies and institutional reforms to improve economy wide or sector specific competitiveness.

He has applied his expertise in market creation, investment attraction, regulatory reform, international law, commercial and tax law, inspection related matters, and good governance to projects for several national bodies.

The World Bank Group experience includes design and delivery across several industry verticals, collaborating with other regions and global practices, including cross cutting themes: green & blue agenda, gender, inclusion, and digital solutions.

Currently acts, as of October 2018, as Program manager within the IFC, Belgrade Office for Western Balkans. There he manages and overseas investment climate related activities as well as a flagship supply chain development program in 5 active member countries, including FCS/IDA: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
