Panel 1: “Dialogue on business climate and investment attractiveness”

Mendi Qyra completed his graduate studies at the Faculty of Agronomy in Prishtina University and post-graduate studies in economic and agriculture in Zagreb University. He is head of the construction company “Trim & Lum” with over 30 years of experience in high-rise construction with a wide geographic scope in Northern Macedonia.

Mr Qyra was also engaged in the field of tourism as e Director of hotel “Izgrev” in Struga and Insurance company “Signa” as well in non-governmental associations and business organizations as a Vice President of Albanian Economic Forum until he was appointed President of Economic Chamber of Northern Macedonia in November 2022 committed to protect the interest and solving problems in the business community.

Mr Qyra is a keen philanthropist dedicated to promoting and supporting initiatives across various sectors including education, charity, culture, art and sports.The best example is management and sponsoring the football club Trim& Lum by supporting initiatives that provide access to sport and programs that promote health and wellness for over 100 young people. Since 2023 this football team is on top of first league in Northern Macedonia!
