Panel 5: “Construction Sector – Could modular construction spark Kovova’s exports?”

Visar Vokrri currently holds the position of Program Director for Developmental Research at Riinvest Institute, where he is responsible for coordinating research activities as well as teaching courses of economics at Riinvest College.

Also, since March 2023 he is also Chairman of the Board of Directors in the Public Company Termokos.

He has a doctorate in the field of economics in Polytechnic University of Marche in Italy and a master’s degree in Economic Development and Economic Policy Analysis, from University of Nottingham in United Kingdom. Previously, he worked in various organizations in the private and public sector in Kosovo, including the banking sector, the privatization process in Kosovo, projects financed by UNDP, EBRD, World Bank, and also from the Government of Kosovo. Visar has been engaged in various researcher activities and advocacy related to foreign trade, labor market, open-governance, market development and many other projects related to socio-economic  Kosovo.

In addition to his native language Albanian, he also speaks fluently English and Serbian.
